QA Manager/ Precision Engineering

►Quality Assurance Manager (Precision Engineering - Oil and Gas)
►Basic salary up to S$6k + Attractive Bonus (AWS/VB)
►Location: Tuas
►Mondays to Fridays; 8.30am to 6.15pm
►Machine operations experience (CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Wirecut/EDM, BTA Drilling, Gundrilling etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for validation of conformance and precision measurement of product manufactured in the machine shop
• Minimizes company risk and maintains compliance in area of quality, environment, health and safety
• Assist in root cause investigations when quality issues do arise. Communicate findings and train staff on improvements or preventative measures
• Be a crucial voice in the refinement, interpretation, documentation, and communication of the company's quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company
• Establish manufacturing inspection test processes, which ensure component dimensions meets the requirements of the drawings
• Identifies and develops talent within the organization
• Support & develop a dynamic, dependable and efficient quality operations team that serves the need of the machine shop
• Ability to improvement the operation with relevant tooling, inspection methods, software, equipment and innovative solutions
• Develop process control approach in order to deliver process and part reliability

Job Requirements:

• At least a diploma in engineering, operations, quality or similar technical field
• Minimum of 5 years managerial experience in manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role
• Proven record of effective machining quality management which operates in a high-mix-low-volume, precision environment
• Experience in upstream Oil & Gas standards and requirements
• Knowledge of machining technology such as CNC Turning and CNC Milling and manufacturing quality assurance procedures
• ISO9001/API Spec Q1 experience
• Experience in quality engineering, auditing, quality management system development
