About the Position
Our client is looking to employ a hands-on, energetic maintenance engineer to drive the maintenance and technical servicing and maintenance of the heavy industrial manufacturing plant operations, and to assist with the entire plant (this includes value added items)
- The core focus is to drive production and ensure that there are no breakdowns
- Preventative maintenance
- Standardisation
- Will manage a team, of +/- 20 artisans
Requirements
- Mech Engineering qualification
- Knowledge and proven implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance
- Strong knowledge and leadership of tool room, machine shop, and mechanical / electrical maintenance fitters
- Able to entrench high manufacture and maintenance standards, preferably from a food processing/ automotive or relevant background
