Site HSE Supervisor

Overview / Responsibilities:[
Wood is currently looking to recruit a Site HSE Supervisor for its ADNOC Onshore project. Successful candidate would be responsible for the following;
  • To oversight the activities of the EPC Contractor to ensure that the ADNOC Codes Of Practice as per the Agreement are being implemented.
  • To oversight the construction worksite to ensure compliance to the approved construction method statements and task risk analysis for the various activities
  • To comment and review Contractor proposed method statements and task risk assessments to ensure compliance with the Agreement, UAE legislation and industry best practices
  • To conduct HSE and Welfare Audits within the workplace and accommodation camps, contributing to recommendation, then reviewing close out and follow up actions
  • To conduct frequent audits and inspections to confirm the effectiveness of HSE programs on critical operations / equipment and procedures at assigned location; present recommendations for improvement; and follow-up their implementation
  • To review Contractor generated statistics, reports, and presentations required for management reporting
  • To promote safe working systems and procedures and monitor the proper application of the Permit to Work system and associated Task Risk Analysis, as well as other approved HSSE and contractor related policies, plans, procedures and guidelines
  • To coordinate and participate in the provision of HSE safety and awareness campaigns from Company and EPC Contractor
  • To contribute to the investigation of accidents and incident reporting as per the Company and Agreement requirements
  • To validate that any EPC Contractor incidents are immediately reported to EPC Contractor management and PMC HSSE management in accordance with procedures
]Skills / Qualifications:
  • Diploma Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals Industry
  • Must have site construction experience in live Plants
